Anti-wrinkle injections continue to be a deservedly popular treatment for frown lines and crow's feet. They produce rapid, predictable results and have an impressive safety record. The time to start is before the wrinkles become permanent! People often complain of unsightly lines and wrinkles on the face, or are told that they look worried or miserable because of them.
In particular these are the frown lines between the eyebrows, horizontal forehead creases and the smile lines at the outer corners of the eyes - the crow's feet. Anti-wrinkle injections give rapid and dramatic results that will take years off you.
Botulinum is a prescription only medicine (PoM) that must be prescribed by a doctor and requires specialist cosmetic training to administer. We have Dr Vik, who has undergone the required training to administer this treatment as well as prescribe it.
A Botulinum treatment process:
1. Day 1: An initial consultation with our Doctor to discuss your concerns. You will be fully informed of the actions of Botulinum, how the treatment is carried out and what to expect.
2. Day 4: The treatment takes about 20 minutes & you will be given post treatment information. Any time from 2-14 days the results will come on gradually.
3. You will have an optional follow up appointment 2 weeks later to assess the results and have top-ups as necessary, at an additional price.
4. Subsequent treatments are required every 3-4 months.
Hyperhydrosis (excessive sweating) - £450
Excessive sweating can be helped by Botulinum by temporarily paralysing the muscles that control sweat secretion. It requires multiple tiny injections in both armpits, forehead or palms of the hand. The results last 6 months or more.
